Kethiwe Ngcobo is an award winning South African filmmaker, producer, and broadcaster with over thirty years of experience across drama series, feature films, and documentaries. She is Founder and CEO of Fuzebox Entertainment, established in 1997, and served as SABCs inaugural Head of Drama from 2004 to 2011, where productions under her leadership earned 120 SAFTA awards and two International Emmy nominations. She has produced nearly 300 episodes of television drama, alongside feature films including Mrs Right Guy, Love Lives Here, and Inkabi: The Hitman for Netflix. Her feature documentary work includes And She Didnt Die, which she directed and produced, Mother City, and 1001 Days. And She Didnt Die premiered at Sheffield Doc Fest in 2025 and screened at IDFA 2025’s Luminous programme, winning the Ronelle Loots Award for Best Editing and the Ladima Foundation Adiaha Award for Best Documentary by an African Woman. She is currently producing three feature films and two feature documentaries.
