Shofela Coker

Shof is an Emmy, Eisner, and Annie-nominated Nigerian illustrator and director for animation. He worked as a director/writer on the Kizazi Moto animated short film, Moremi on Disney+. He co-created and illustrated New Masters (Image Comics, 2022) and Bronze Faces (BOOM, 2025). He has also worked as a character designer for Netflix, Sony, Blue Spirit, and Activision, and as an art director in animation on the animated documentary, Liyana (Amazon Prime), and the animated series, Iyanu (HBO MAX). His primary influence stems from a love of Yoruba mythology and the craft of printmaking in Nigeria.
