Nelly Molokoane

Nelly Molokoane is the Director: Film and Television Incentive at the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), with extensive experience across various areas of the organisation. She is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Film Unit, including providing industry advice and endorsements for market access initiatives facilitated by the department. Nelly has played an instrumental role in shaping the development of the Black Filmmakers Incentive and amendments to the Film Incentive Guidelines. She brings extensive expertise in the development, implementation and administration of government incentives, as well as project funding and assessment. Over the course of her career, she has served on various committees responsible for evaluating and supporting funding projects and has contributed significantly to incentive design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation within various industries.
