Londeka Sishi is an award-winning South African actress, storyteller and rising force in the African entertainment industry. Born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, Londeka’s journey into acting is one of courage, faith and persistence. Although she initially pursued a career outside the entertainment industry, her enduring love for performance eventually led her back to the calling she had carried for years. Her breakthrough came in 2023 when she landed the role of Nkanyezi in Showmax’s acclaimed drama series Adulting. The role introduced Londeka to audiences across South Africa and established her as an actress with a natural screen presence, emotional honesty and an ability to bring complexity to her characters. Since then, Londeka has continued to expand her body of work across television and film. She starred as Thoko in Netflix’s Umjolo franchise, including Umjolo: The Gone Girl, Umjolo: Day Ones and Umjolo: There Is No Cure, further demonstrating her versatility and range as a performer. In 2025, Londeka took on the role of Busisiwe in Scandal!, delivering a performance that earned her a nomination—and ultimately the win—for Best Actress in a TV Soap at the 19th South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) in 2026. In July 2026, Londeka entered another exciting chapter in her career when she joined SABC1’s Uzalo as Lungsta, a formidable and strategically minded member of the notorious Amantaliyane gang.
