Bio

Lara Kantor has worked in broadcasting regulation for most of her career, having held senior positions at ICASA, the National Association of Broadcasters, the SABC and e.tv. She has been with MultiChoice since 2017 where she is General Manager: Regulatory Affairs. Lara has assisted in developing MultiChoice’s position on a number of key issues including sports broadcasting, the must carry regulations and the country’s policy for new audio-visual services. The issues she is currently focused on include anti-piracy and AI safety.
