Joel Chikapa-Phiri is a visionary film producer and entrepreneur with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. As Chairman of Known Associates Group (KAG), he oversees a diverse range of media companies, including Known Associates Entertainment, Zero Gravity TV & Media (film production companies), Moonlighting Films (production services), AEIA (sales, acquisitions, and distribution), 1215KA (design studio), Cradle Film Studios (a state-of-the-art film studio in the Cradle of Humankind outside Johannesburg), Known Associates Film & TV Investments (a finance company). Joel’s extensive filmography includes acclaimed productions like Flame, Fools, The Bird Can’t Fly, Forgiveness, Monsieur N, The Flyer, Crazy Monkey: Straight Outta Benoni, and Wah-Wah. These films have been recognised at prestigious film festivals and have made a significant impact on the global film landscape.
