Jean-Luc Chapell

Jean-Luc Chappell works in indie games in Cape Town. A graduate of Vega, he first caught the attention of the local games community as a volunteer at Playtopia. He went on to work in QA and community management at QCF Design before joining Free Lives as a QA specialist, where his role has expanded into production, community management and broader development support. Jean-Luc also manages the Jam Dole, a game development stipend programme run by the Playtopia Foundation. Outside of games, he performs stand-up comedy and is an enthusiastic, and occasionally unstoppable, karaoke singer.
