James Maposa

James Maposa is the Founder and Managing Director of Birguid, a challenger insights and advisory consultancy. He brings over 20 years’ experience across research, strategy, monitoring and evaluation, investment, and policy advisory. He works with private- and public-sector organisations, primarily supporting clients on growth, progression, and the strategic choices required to translate insight into action. James is passionate about Africa and other emerging markets developing solutions to their own challenges, building on what works locally, and leveraging these successes to strengthen their competitiveness and positioning in global markets. James holds MBA, Master’s in Programme Evaluation (MPE), and BSc (Honours) degrees.
