Founded in 2009, Diprente is the South African based, production company behind projects such as the first ever African Netflix Originals, “Queen Sono” and “Catching Feelings”, the Amazon and Sony backed series “Classified”, the South African box office sensation “Wizard (Matwetwe)” and the Emmy nominated series “Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola”. On the animation front, Diprente is driven by a dedication to creating heroes and worlds that are representative of audiences that have yet to see themselves depicted on screen. The company has sold animated projects into major studios including Disney, Apple, Netflix, Lionsgate, eOne, Cartoon Network and Mediawan.
