Erica Motley

Erica Motley Dupuis is an executive producer of African diaspora content. A graduate of Howard University and Harvard Business School, she began her film acquisitions career at HBO International before moving into senior creative roles at Fox Kids International, where she worked on the global rollout of Power Rangers. She then served as Head of International Acquisitions at UIP (the joint venture between Universal, Paramount, and DreamWorks), where she co-funded the development of Kumba. At K5, she acquired the international films The Reluctant Fundamentalist and the Southern African film Vehicle 19. She executive produced Taboo (BBC/FX) and Iyanu: Child of Wonder, the number one children’s series on Showmax and HBO Max. A committed mentor, she has supported talent through the Sundance Institute, the Media Business School in Spain, and the African Producers Accelerator in Cape Town.
