Social Transformation and Empowerment Projects (STEPS) is a non-profit media house based in Cape Town, South Africa, that produces and distributes documentary films globally. STEPS provides training in story development, production, impact distribution, and facilitated film screenings. STEPS curates and manages AfriDocs as a free-to-view documentary platform for short and long documentary films primarily from Africa. STEPS recently produced Generation Africa, a collection of 25 documentary films about migration by African filmmakers, and is now working on a collection of films about climate justice.
