Multi award winning independent production house was founded by Africa Academy Award winner Vusi Africa and Naledi Bogacwi. Since it’s inception TBM has been at the forefront of creating award winning contemporary films. The team has earned a SAFTA for their first film in the category of best emerging filmmaker, the film was also awarded the award for Artistic Bravery at the 40th DIFF. In 2022 they produced the evod breakout film Surviving Gaza which earned a record of 14 Africa Academy Award nominations walking away with Best Director , Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. Co-founder Vusi Africa went on to be named on the Mail and Guardian list of South Africa’s most influential young people of 2022 and became the first person to be awarded an artist in residency at AFDA Johannesburg.
