Busani Magwaza

Busani Magwaza is an HR Specialist with a focus on Training and Development, with experience in human capital development, programme coordination and creative-sector skills development. He is a Community Development driven and process-oriented manager of an internationally acclaimed Art Centre where he serves as the Project Coordinator for the KZN Imagination Animation Multimedia Lab (IAM-LAB) and coordinates the organisation’s Multimedia Department. A graduate of Trustee Development Programme at Stellenbosch, he has a broad knowledge in the Creative and Cultural Industries, and the world of animation. Through IAM-LAB, Busani coordinates and implements an animation training programme designed to equip young people with practical skills in 2D and 3D animation, storytelling, character development and digital production. His work has contributed to the development of emerging animation talent, with the programme producing and supporting students as they develop their creative portfolios and gain practical exposure to the animation production process.
