Adhil Ramnath

Adhil Ramnath is a profoundly Deaf South African creative professional working across acting, modelling, presenting, fashion, and South African Sign Language (SASL) performance. He is passionate about breaking barriers and creating greater opportunities for Deaf representation in the entertainment and creative industries. As an actor, Adhil has played the lead role in the international short film Echoes, filmed in Kyrgyzstan, and continues to pursue opportunities in film, television, commercials, and international productions. He has been actively involved in industry platforms as a speaker, panelist, performer, and participant. Adhil is committed to bringing authentic Deaf representation to mainstream media and is developing his career as a presenter and SASL performer. He is a South African Guild of Actors (SAGA) member and SAGA Champion, supporting greater accessibility and inclusion within the film and television industry. His message is simple: Deafness should never limit talent, ambition, or opportunity.
