Bio

Souleymane KEBE is a Senegalese producer and co-director of St Louis Doc Festival. He was born in 1985 in St Louis, Senegal.

After studying law at university, Souleymane KEBE studied films. Therefore, he graduated from Stendhal 3 University in Grenoble and Lussas Documentary School.

With Sunuy Films and Astou Productions, he has been producing documentary films, series, and fiction since 2012, including “Tooth for Tooth” by Ottis Ba, selected at FESPACO; “Sira” by Apolline Traoré, winner of the Audience Award at Berlinale and the Silver Award at FESPACO; and “Banel & Adama” by Ramatoulaye Sy, which was in official competition at Cannes. Since 2012, he has co-organized the Saint-Louis International Documentary Film Festival, “St Louis’Docs.”

Souleymane KEBE is also the Secretary General of RESPAC (Network of Senegalese Audiovisual and Cinematographic Production Companies).
