Rea Moeti-Vogt

Rea Moeti-Vogt is a South African producer-director with multiple SAFTA-winning credits, including headwriting the country’s first female prison series and directing Africa’s first adaptation of Ugly Betty (Ubettina Wethu). A Master’s graduate from the prestigious NFTS in the UK, she has produced four short films and is currently producing a slate of nine features, including her debut film Real Estate Sisters, which premiered on Netflix in 2024 and landed in the top 10. She recently completed her first feature documentary in Zimbabwe with US production house SeaLion Films and is a fellow of the American Film Showcase, Cannes Producers Network, DFM Access, and The Gotham.
