Nocks Chatiza

Film Producer and Screenplay Writer
Nocks Chatiza is an Alumnus of the 3rd Berlin Talent Campus and an AFDA graduate with a strong background and experience in training and development. Nocks is also a champion for the streamlining of film training programmes and development activities in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

An experienced Film Producer and Screenplay Writer, who worked as 1st Assistant Director on TV Commercials and films in Namibia and Zimbabwe; worked as a consultant for the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe’s ZimDigital Content Commissioning Committees. He also served as a Trustee for Zimbabwe International Film Festival Trust from 2013 -2016 and Lectured at the Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa (ZIFTESSA) from 2010 -2019. Currently he is serving as an Arts Sector Sub – Committee member for NAMACO (National Manpower Advisory Council) and National Committee Member for the drafting of the National Film Strategy (2025-2030) under the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ).
