Nafia Kocks

Nafia Kocks is the Head Developer of the African Film DAO and co-founder of Holocene Films. He has close to twenty years experience as a cinematographer and editor. He worked as a finishing editor on several TV productions, before he started his career in Web3. He is qualified in Cryptology, Blockchain, and Solidity from Alchemy University, and develops alternative financial models and tools for filmmakers. He produced the award-winning “Two Hues” short film, “District Six Rising from the Dust” and worked as a cinematographer on both projects. He also works as a free-lance Director of Photography for Canal Plus and Al-Jazeera. He is the Head Developer on the Two Hues Film NFT – Africa’s first NFT distributed film.
