Mayye Zayed is an Egyptian filmmaker based in Berlin and the founder of Cléo Media in Alexandria. She is known for her award-winning documentary “Lift Like A Girl,” which was co-produced with ZDF and released on Netflix. Her acclaimed work has screened at TIFF, Berlinale, Cairo FF, Dok Leipzig, DOC NYC, & AFI. A Fulbright scholar & Berlinale Talents alumna, she champions female-driven stories with global impact.
