Dr. N. Bhebhe currently serves as the Manager of Research and Development at the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority (KZNTAF) in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. He joined the KZN Film Commission in 2015 and has been involved in research, strategy, planning, and monitoring and evaluation of the organization. Dr. Bhebhe has played a vital role in researching film industry trends, coordinating research projects, and analyzing reports to support the planning processes of management and stakeholders. Apart from his research interests, Dr. Bhebhe is also interested in policy development, management, and administration within the sector.
In addition to his research responsibilities, Dr. Bhebhe is tasked with drafting, developing, and compiling the entity’s planning documents, including the Annual Performance Plan, Strategic Plan, and Annual Report. His previous experience spans various positions within the public sector, encompassing research and management roles. Moreover, Dr. Bhebhe engages in consultations with stakeholders to review research findings and recommendations.
