YKMD aims to produce quality, commercially driven, live action and animation for film and television. Specialising in scripted content, we create, develop and produce original ideas from both our in-house team, and from emerging and established talent. YKMD’s goal is to bridge the gap between Africa and the Globe, exposing the diversity of stories coming out of the African continent. YKMD founders Emmanuel Castis and Aurelie Stratton met many, many...ahem years ago at Drama School and became close friends. In fact they often cannot believe they are not related! They share a passion for storytelling and always wanted to create projects that not only entertain but also inspire. It was through this shared passion that they joined forces and You Kicked My Dog Productions was born.
