Toony Animation cc. was established in Cape Town, South Africa. It is a boutique animation studio made up of experienced staff that has created 2 seasons of 2D content for ETV s’, Siyabonga Gogo, a 50 x 5 min, episodic, children’s series about African folk tales. We are also truly grateful for receiving the Winner of the Public Favourite vote in the 2023 SceneIt Animation Competition for our short film "Peek-a-boo". Our mission is to create wholesome family entertainment for children with strong moral and ethical values. We encourage children to explore, to challenge themselves and develop their cognitive skills while having fun.
