Andile Sinqoto is a Film and TV director with almost two decades of experience. He began his career as a Personal Assistant and gradually progressed through roles including Producer, Assistant Director, Director of Photography, and ultimately Director over the course of his career.
He has since worked on numerous feature films, directed numerous documentaries, as well as directed hundreds and hundreds of TV Commercials as well as Music Videos. He also worked on the Bill & Melinda Gates Documentary shot in Africa as part of the directing team.
He is currently ranked on the top 25 TVC Directors in the world by an international community called Creative Pool. He is also a member of the South African Society Of Cinematographers (SASC).
He currently seats on two reference groups Subcommittees of the Department of Sports, Arts & Culture; the Subcommittee of Policy, Regulation, Legislation & Advocacy, as well as the Transformation Subcommittee. He is also on the council of the South African Screen Federation (SASFED).
He is now the Chairperson of the Independent Directors Association Africa (IDAA), as well as the Directors Guild of South Africa (DGSA).
