Mugambi is an actor, writer and director working on the stage and the screen. He featured in the celebrated Kenyan films Nairobi Half Life (2012) and Stories of our Lives (2015), then went on to co-write the award-winning feature films Kati Kati (2016) and Supa Modo (2018). His directorial feature debut Lusala (2019) premiered at the NBO Film Festival, and the Rotterdam Film Festival (IFFR) in Feb 2020. When not working on film, Mugambi hosts film screenings and trivia nights at local venues and in online spaces.
