Ng’endo Mukii is a writer, director and animation professor based in Boston. She’s best known for ‘Nnkai’, her Annie award-winning episode of the Disney+ anthology series ‘Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire’ and for her Royal College of Art graduate film, ‘Yellow Fever’—the critically acclaimed animated documentary exploring Western influences on African women’s beauty. Her work focuses on relationships, the separation between perception and reality, and the use of moving images to represent unspoken truths. Themes of identity also play a vital role in her creative process and inspiration.
