CAPASSO (Composers, Authors and Publishers Association of South Africa), a mechanical rights licensing and collection society in South Africa. CAPASSO collects and distributes music royalties for its members, namely: composers, authors and publishers. Through our licensing agreements we ensure that our members' music is properly promoted, used and compensated for as is prescribed by law. Our repertoire consists of various types of music including inter alia commercial music and production music which is readily available, of high quality and cost effective. The music is specifically written, recorded, compiled and distributed for non-exclusive use in audio and visual productions such as TV, radio, films, animations, documentaries, websites, corporate videos and even viral marketing campaigns.
