Visions du Réel, International Film Festival, Nyon (CH) is one of the leading non-fiction film festivals worldwide, presenting a variety of approaches throughout its programme. It includes several competitive sections –screening films in world, international or European premiere– as well as a few non-competitive and curated ones, for a total of around 170 features, medium length and short films. The VdR–Industry activities, which bring over 1’350 professionals to Switzerland, are dedicated to international projects at every stage, offering a wide range of opportunities, such as tutoring, co-production, funding and distribution. Additionaly, from 2023, Visions du Réel managed the Swiss funds visions sud est.
