We are a whimsically creative group of performing artists and technical wizards with ruthless determination. Founded in 2018 by actress, director, writer and producer, Danielle Retief, Reckless Haven Productions has gained quick and solid success as both an entertainment and educational company. Credits include Chasing Joburg, Baai Baai Josef K, Cold Call, Note to Self, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Vertel Nog, The Cat and the Monkey, The Caretaker and Fairy & Folk Tales. Lastly named was the winner of the prestigious Standard Bank Ovation Award. During the 2020 Covid-pandemic, the company turned to online promotional and educational projects which were met with great success and turned into live production partnerships for 2022. Reckless Haven Productions is fully committed to the arts education of the youth in South Africa and, with the help of the National Arts Council and ATKV, we have been able to take arts education to the most neglected parts of South Africa.
