It focuses on both local and international productions, who emerge through their original approach and unique style. The company is particularly committed to nurturing young talent and telling African stories with a global perspective. Its founders, Phoebe Ntandegwawo and Molly Nakamya, are professional filmmakers who have worked in Uganda’s film industry for over seven years now. They both have their background in academia and arts management having worked with Uganda’s prime film training institution, the Kampala Film School, for a long time. They also share a passion in telling authentic stories, discovering fresh talent and using film to create social change.
