Mr. Timothy Odhiambo Owase.

Timothy Odhiambo Owase is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Film Commission.

He is an experienced board level leader with a wealth of experience in growing businesses and a solid understanding in designing and implementing result bearing business initiatives and strategies. He is also a marketing and communication professional committed to sustainable socio-economic development by investing in people, communities and businesses.

He is a Certified Film Commissioner, and is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). He has a world of experience in Marketing, Media, ICT, Development and the entertainment world. He has previously provided his knowledge and expertise at Rollout Marketing Agency, Touch Media Solutions Ltd, Mnet East Africa, and Multichoice Africa.

The Chartered Marketing Fellow is a creative and screen industries specialist and holds an MA in Development and Corporate Communications from Daystar University, BBA (Marketing) from Kenya Methodist University, Film Marketing and Film Economic development from AFCI University, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Diploma in Marketing from London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), and a Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute of Management.
